Chicken Taco Pizza

Domino’s
Chicken
Taco
Pizza

features
a
pizza
topped
with American
cheese,
taco
seasoning,
grilled
chicken,
onions,
green
peppers,
diced
tomatoes,
provolone
cheese,
and
cheddar
cheese.

I
paid

$11.99

for
a
large
Chicken
Taco
Pizza
on
hand-tossed
dough.

Like
the
Cheeseburger
Pizza,
there’s
no
pizza
sauce
to
be
found
on
the
Chicken
Taco
Pizza
(or
any
other
sauce
for
that
matter)
and,
therefore,
there
was
a
decided
lack
of
tang
to
it.
The
cheese
picked
up
the
slack
though
with
a
nice,
thin
gooey-ness
between
the
American
cheese,
provolone,
and
cheddar.
Interestingly,
I
could
definitely
taste
the
American
cheese
over
the
provolone
and
cheddar.

The
taco
seasoning
provided
a
distinct
feature
for
the
Chicken
Taco
Pizza
with
a
flavor
similar
to
the
taco
seasoning
you
use
for
ground
beef
at
home,
which
is
to
say
there’s
that
signature
dose
of
cumin
as
well
as
other
spices.
It
worked
pretty
well
with
the
chicken
and
vegetables.
The
onions,
green
peppers,
and
tomatoes
were
baked
to
almost
mushiness
and
were
very
mild
in
flavor.
The
chicken
was
tender
and
moist
enough.

The
crust
was
fairly
light
and
bread-y
with
a
thin,
crispy
surface
and
an
ample
dusting
of
cornmeal
below.

Overall,
Domino’s
Chicken
Taco
Pizza
surprisingly
delivered
on
a
chicken
taco-like
flavor
due
to
the
taco
seasoning.
The
lack
of
pizza
sauce
is
likely
key
as
its
stronger
flavor
would
be
detrimental
to
the
seasoning.
